A second chance at Christmas

Old Scrooge learned the hard way that Christmas isn't bought — it's made, and then it's given away. That's the whole idea behind this little shop. Every piece is cut, painted and finished by hand here in the UK, then wrapped in brown paper and twine the way they did it in 1843.

We don't do mass-produced and we don't do throwaway. We make keepsakes — the kind that come down from the loft each December, get a little more loved every year, and one day belong to someone who wasn't even born yet. Bah humbug to anything less.

Excellent ornaments — something to keep for Christmases to come. Beautifully gift-wrapped with a lovely card, too. Very well made. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone who loves Dickens.

Everything you might want to know before you order.

Are these really handmade?
Every single one. Each piece is cut, stitched, cast or painted by hand in our UK workshop. No two are exactly alike, and that's rather the point.
How long will my order take?
Most pieces are made to order and dispatched within three working days. UK delivery is 2 to 3 days after that. Closer to Christmas, order early to be safe, and do drop me a message if you need something in a hurry.
Do you gift-wrap?
Always, and at no extra cost. Everything arrives wrapped in brown paper and twine with a little card, ready to give just as it is. Add a gift message at checkout and I'll include it.
Can I order something personalised or custom?
Yes please, it's my favourite kind of order. Names, dates, family baubles or a piece made to your own idea. Send me the details through the form below or on Etsy and I'll sort it.
What's your returns policy?
If something isn't right, you have 30 days to return it for a refund or exchange, as long as it's unused and in its original condition. Personalised pieces are the only exception unless they've arrived faulty.
Where are you based?
Everything is made by hand here in the UK and posted out from the workshop. Proudly small, proudly handmade.
